The Civil War and Reconstruction test is one of my favorite DSST tests because a lot of American students already know a lot of this material. From Generals Lee and Jackson, the North and the South, to the assassination of President Lincoln. This test is a potential easy 3 credits for anyone with an inkling for history. Preparing for this test can be done by watching the History Channel. After studying here, of course. Also, this test is worth 3 credits that can be applied to upper or lower units. That’s a bonus.

Here’s what our preparation material covers:
Practice Test Title, Number of Questions with Study Guide
Causes of the War, 49
1861, 27
1862, 64
1863, 66
1864 to May 1865, 74
Reconstruction, 37

There are 318 multiple-choice practice test questions total.

The Human Resource Management DSST/DANTES exam contains questions that come from the following topics:

    Causes of the War (11%)

After months of hard work our team of experts has created and compiled a new and significant advance in the way our material is presented for your study. The new materials are called Version 2.

Version 2 is an advance and answer to many inquiries for a different presentation of the materials. Here’s a quick rundown of the way the CLEP and DSST test materials are offered:

The original format allows the student to read and answer a multiple choice question. At that point the student is informed whether their answer is Correct or Incorrect. A detailed explanation follows for the student to read and learn from. There is an opportunity to review the material at the end of the test.

Version 2 presents the same multiple choice questions, but doesn’t immediately inform the student whether the answer is right or wrong. The score and correct answers are shown in the ‘review’ of the material at the end of the test. So, the student can practice the multiple choice format (a key in learning to successfully take these tests) and learn the material in a realistic testing environment.

As well, if the student chooses the ‘Submit All’ option all answers are submitted whether answered or not. This will allow the student to quickly review the questions, answers, and explanations in a format without having to take the whole test.

We think it’s a great new way to learn, study, and benefit from. We hope you enjoy it and that it helps in your studies.
